I figured all these years of watching Aaron get all his dream cars that it was about time I stepped up and got one of my own. So here it is:
1982 Corvette. Needs some work, but I am so happy and excited to finally have one! _________________

Thanks guys! Now I have to get Aaron to help me get some stuff fixed The pass headlight needs to be put together, backup lights don't work, and I need a hook to put the driver's seatbelt in...all that just for inspection. Then the interior is getting completely redone as it's not in great shape. I've been trying to convince Aaron that I need his dual gate shifter now The one that's in this car sucks and will easily bump out of gear, plus I can't tell what gear it's in. Tranny shifts sluggish too...too bad Aaron just sold his good tranny _________________

Yeah I know it's not made for it, but if anyone can rig it to work, Aaron can!
Aaron was messing with the headlights this morning, seems as though the prev owner didn't have all the parts for them as he thought. Right now we have the seats all out and cleaned up...they need to be recovered, but I got all the pieces of carpet and glue off the backs of the seats. Console is out of the car, floors are vacuumed...still need some scraping and prep work before I can get carpet in there. Aaron is working on the shifter and a few little switches and such that aren't working right at the moment.
We seriously need a garage building party! With 7 cars now I have no good place to park it Right now it's parked right in front of our front door _________________

Well my floors are all sanded and prepped to be sprayed out and I already have my new black carpet for the front (back will come sometime in the distant future). I just need a warm day to do it all. It's ready to get inspected but the snow that is still on the ground out here has prevented that.
I'm wishing I would have gotten new t-top seals, at least that is something I could have been doing on these cold days. _________________

Battery had to be charged after sitting for a while all apart, but got it fired up, so here is an exhaust teaser

Okay, time for an update.
Here is what the inside looked like when I got the car:
Interior now, only remaining gray is my seats and door panels.
Washed and waxed it again yesterday:
Hopefully it will be ready for driving very soon. _________________
